ABOUT THE ACADEMY

Whole-person learning grounded in real practice.

Metabodyworks Academy brings together personal wellness, therapeutic movement, holistic modalities and professional development through accessible, ethically grounded education.

Why the Academy was created.

Metabodyworks developed through years of working directly with people seeking greater comfort, resilience, movement and understanding of their health. The Academy extends that experience beyond individual appointments and in-person classes.

Some learners are beginning with their own wellbeing. Others are developing skills for yoga teaching, holistic practice, bodywork or workplace leadership. The Academy provides room for both paths without assuming that every learner has the same destination.

Our approach encourages practical application, thoughtful self-observation and respect for appropriate professional scope. Holistic education should deepen awareness—not replace necessary medical care or make promises that the evidence cannot support.

What guides our teaching.

These principles shape both personal learning and practitioner education throughout the Academy.

01

Whole-person thinking

Physical, emotional, behavioural and relational patterns are considered together rather than in isolation.

02

Practical application

Learning should offer skills, reflection and experiences that can be meaningfully applied.

03

Ethical practice

Communication, boundaries, consent and scope are essential parts of responsible practitioner development.

04

Continued growth

Education is treated as an ongoing process of refinement, curiosity and self-awareness.

Experience behind the Academy.

The curriculum is informed by decades of teaching, therapeutic practice and work with diverse learners and patients.
